Do you offer end user training?

We offer a variety of training plans from one-on-one basic phone and voice mail training sessions with individual staff members to group trainings to System Administrative training. Cost for sessions vary, please contact our Client Advocate, Melanie at 719.955.4985 or email mhines@west-tech.net for details or to coordinate a training session.

Do you offer maintenance agreements?

Yes, we offer a variety of Maintenance Plans that can fit most of our client’s budgetary criteria. Contact our Client Advocate, Melanie at 719.955.4985 or email mhines@west-tech.net for details or to request a quote for maintenance options.

How do I change the time on my phone system?

Depends on the voice mail type and is system configuration dependent. Some voice mails automatically sync with a time server, some require manual adjustment, some do both. Please Contact West Tech for further instructions. Some system instructions are available via the User Guides section of this site.

NEC Elite 48, 192 and IPK – Requires phone tech support or an onsite technician visit.

NEC Elite IPK II/SV8100 – From any phone, press SPEAKER key, dial 700, enter extension number you wish to change, use dial pad to spell name, press HOLD, press SPEAKER key to complete. You can also refer to section 15-02 (Extension Basic Setup) in your Web Pro Administrative Portal (if applicable).

NEC 2000, 2400 – Requires phone tech support or an onsite technician visit.

NEC SV8100 – Press Speaker, dial 728, dial two digits for the hour (i.e. 24 hour clock, 13 – 1:00pm), dial two digits for the minutes (00-59). Press Speaker to complete.

Shoretel – The name display of ShoreTel ShorePhone IP telephones are managed by the Shoreware Director Administrative Portal, please contact your System Administrator to adjust the setting if your display name is incorrect.

Nortel/Norstar – Requires phone tech support or an onsite technician visit.

How do I change names on my phone system?

How do I change the schedule on my auto attendant

Depends on the voice mail type and is system configuration dependent. Please contact service@west-tech.net to request help desk support.

Can I get phone labels to replace on my phones

Yes, if you are a client on a current West Tech maintenance plan, there is no charge for additional phone labels. If not, there is a minimum charge of $25 for a pack of blank labels. You can email service@west-tech.net or West Tech’s Customer Advocate, Melanie at mhines@west-tech.net to request them.

Can I get longer handset or line cords

There is no charge to our clients who have maintenance plans with us otherwise please email our Service Department at service@west-tech.net for a purchase price.
